I am very thankful for the witty inventions of today where we can see a baby inside the womb! Yesterday, Bryant and I had the chance to use an ultrasound machine to see our little BOY! The technician was kind and used a second machine to get bigger pictures for us. Here is one of them:
Baby "Olive(r)" Cutler |
This is my favorite picture of all of him, but my absolute favorite was one of his hand by his head.
He woke up right before we went back for the exam, which meant that he was moving the whole time. It was awesome watching him kick and try grabbing his feet. I was in awe watching this little creation of our Lord!
Immediately when the technician put the wand on my tummy, we saw the underside of his thighs. He was posed and ready to be found out.
I am thankful the Lord chose to give us a son, though the gender didn't really matter to us.
We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
~Psalm 78:4
Wasn't little "oliver" cooperative! We love the pics and this makes it all the more real~ Grandma and Grandpa are ready to hold him! Amy has decided that Auntie Amy sounds better than Aunt Amy. I am sure Uncle Will has visions of passing on his lego love to this little one! We love the 3 of you! Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow! Time to get to sewing!!!!!
ReplyDeletePraise the LORD! We are rejoicing with you, Grandma and Grandpa Jackson! The top picture that you posted, Kathryn, IS my favorite! It's so exciting thinking that, if the LORD wills, you will be holding and loving your little boy in just a few months. Thank you, LORD, for your witty inventions that allow such tender mercies as this! And give us practical time to prepare!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and thank you for sharing your pictures of your sweet baby boy. He is a miracle. I can't wait to meet him.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you Katie and Bryant. Mimi is thrilled that she is going to be a Great GrandMother. We love our little BOY and can't wait to hold him, cuddle him and spoil him beyond reason. I love to hear the awe and wonder in your messages and am so happy that you are having this experience in your life. Much Love and many Lordly Blessings. - Aunt Jodi
