13 Weeks

It is the last week of my first trimester. I am very thankful for the Lord's mercy of growing this baby inside of me.

This week Olive will grow to be about the size of a shrimp (about 3 inches).




Olive has about doubled in weight. Her fingerprints have formed on her fingertips, her organs; some of which are beginning to function; and veins are visible through her thin skin, and her body is beginning to catch up to her head in growth. (Source)

    The size of a shrimp?! I've never heard that comparison before!

    I so hope and pray you are feeling well. I very vividly remember morning sickness and headaches!

    Aw! How sweet! I can call the baby "Shrimpy" for a week or so! Lol! Just kidding! It is so neat to see the stages, and to know that the Lord is a marvelous creator! See you 3 tonight dear, Lord willing!
